Import from Bitwarden
Follow the below steps to export passwords from Bitwarden and import into Locker.
Export from Bitwarden
Web Vault
- In the top navigation bar, click
Tools
.
- Click
Export Vault
from the menu.
- Choose a File Format you want to export the data (.json, .csv, .json (Encrypted) ).
- Enter your Master Password to validate the attempt.
- Click
Export Vault
again to complete export.
Extension
- Click on the
Bitwarden extension icon
and open theSettings
tab.
- Scroll to the
Tools
section and clickExport Vault
.
- Choose a file format to export the data (.json, .csv, .json (Encrypted) ).
- Enter your Master Password and select
Submit
.
Mobile devices
- Tap
Settings
.
- Scroll to the
Tools
section and clickExport Vault
.
- Choose a file format to export the data (.json, .csv, .json (Encrypted) ).
- Enter your Master Password and select
Submit
.
Import to Locker
Web Vault
To import data to the web vault:
- Open Locker on your browser.
- Select
Settings
>Options
.
- Scroll down to the Import section.
- Select the format of the import file from the drop-down menu.
- Click
Choose File
and upload the import file on your device, or paste the import file contents in the underneath blank section.
- Click
Import
.
Your login credentials have been successfully imported from Google Chrome to Locker vault.
Mobile Devices
- Open Locker app.
- Tap
Menu
>Settings
>Import Data
.
- Tap
Format
- Tap
Select File
to upload the import file to the system.
- Tap
Import Data
.
Note: After successful import, you should delete the data export file in your computer to ensure your data is safe should your computer be compromised.
Remove Bitwarden from your browser
After you've imported your data, you're ready to use Locker to manage your digital vault. Make sure to turn off or remove apps and extensions for any other password managers in the browsers that you use.
