Import from Google Chrome

Locker allows users to import data from Google Chrome into Locker. The steps in this guide are also applicable to any Chromium-based base browser, such as Microsoft Edge (Chromium), Opera, and Brave.

Export from Chrome

You can export Chrome data from a Desktop or Mobile browser.

Chrome on Desktop
  1. Visit password.google.com
  1. Click the gear icon in the right corner.
  1. Select Export button in the Export passwords section. A small windows will pop up to warn you that your passwords will be visible to anyone who can access the file, including apps. Therefore, you should keep the file to yourself only.
  1. Click Export.
  1. You will be prompted to enter verify your identity. Enter password to sign in to your Google account.
  1. As soon as you log in successfully, the file will be automatically downloaded onto your computer in .csv format.

Chrome on Mobile
  1. Visit password.google.com
  1. Tap the gear icon in the right corner.
  1. Tap Export Passwords.
  1. Verify your identity by entering your PIN or using biometrics.
  1. Specify a location to save or share your password export to.

Import to Locker

Web Vault

To import data to the web vault:

  1. Open Locker on your browser.
  1. Select Settings > Options.
  1. Scroll down to the Import section.
  1. Select the format of the import file from the drop-down menu.
  1. Click Choose File and upload the import file on your device, or paste the import file contents in the underneath blank section.
  1. Click Import.

Your login credentials have been successfully imported from Google Chrome to Locker vault.

Mobile Devices
  1. Open Locker app.
  1. Tap Menu > Settings > Import Data.
  1. Tap Format to select the right format of your import file.
  1. Tap Select File to upload the import file to the system.
  1. Tap Import Data.
