Set up and use Private Email

Private Email is a useful tool to create email masks and keep your true email address private. Locker Private Email even allows you to send/reply emails via your alias rather than just receiving forwarded emails.

Here’s a brief guide on how to set and use Private Email in Locker.

Web Vault
  1. Log in to Locker on your browser or click here.
  1. On the left sidebar, click Private Email.

  1. Your root email is automatically identified as the email address you use to register your account in Locker.
    1. Below the root email, you can see the number of aliases you can create and edit. In the Free plan, you have 5 aliases and 1 customizable alias.

      Tips: Upgrade to Premium to create and edit unlimited aliases.

  1. Click New alias to start creating a new alias. The system will automatically generate a new email mask.
  1. Click Edit to change the username of your alias if you want to. To delete an alias, click Delete.

  1. Start using your alias to sign up for a new app or promotion. Any email sent to your alias will be forwarded to your root email.

Mobile Devices
  1. Log in to Locker on your mobile device.
  1. Tap Tools.
  1. Tap Locker Private Email.
  1. You can see all the aliases you have created on the screen and the number of aliases left. For example 3/5 means you have created 3 aliases and there are only 2 remaining aliases available.
    1. Tap New alias start creating a new alias. The system will automatically generate a new email mask that you can see on the screen.

  1. To edit an alias, click on the three-dot icon next to an alias. Tap Edit alias address. To delete an alias, Tap Delete.
  1. Start using your alias to sign up for a new app or promotion. Any email sent to your alias will be forwarded to your root email.
