# Import data from RoboForm to Locker

> Follow the following steps to move your passwords from RoboForm to Locker.

## Export from RoboForm

You can export your RoboForm data from its desktop app.

### For Windows Users

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open RoboForm options">
    Click the RoboForm icon on your desktop taskbar and select **Options**.

  <Step title="Go to Account & Data">
    Select **Account & Data** on the RoboForm Options window.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Export">
    Click the **Export** button, then enter your master password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose format and location">
    Highlight the folders you want to export, choose **CSV** as the export format, and select the location you want to save the output file.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm export">
    Select **Export** > **Yes**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close">
    Select **Close** when the export is complete.
  </Step>

RoboForm will export your data into a CSV file in the location you have chosen. You can then import this file into Locker.

### For macOS Users

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open RoboForm">
    Open the RoboForm program and enter your master password if asked.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Export">
    From the top menu, select **File** > **Export**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose format and location">
    Highlight the folders you want to export, choose **CSV** as the export format, and select the location you want to save the output file.

  <Step title="Confirm export">
    Select **Export** > **Yes**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close">
    Select **Close** when the export is complete.
  </Step>

RoboForm will export your data into a CSV file in the location you have chosen. You can then import this file into Locker.

## Import to Locker

### Web Vault

  <Step title="Open Locker">
    Open Locker on your browser.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Navigate to Import/Export">
    Select **Settings** > **Import/Export**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Scroll to Import section">
    Scroll down to the **Import** section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select format">
    Select the format of the import file from the drop-down menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload the file">
    Click **Choose File** and upload the import file on your device, or paste the import file contents in the blank section below.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Import">
    Click **Import**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Your login credentials have been successfully imported from RoboForm to the Locker vault.

### Mobile Devices

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Locker app">
    Open the Locker app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Navigate to Import Data">
    Tap **Menu** > **Settings** > **Import Data**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select format">
    Tap **Format** to select the right format of your import file.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select file">
    Tap **Select File** to upload the import file to the system.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Import">
    Tap **Import Data**.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  After successful import, you should delete the data export file in your local storage to ensure your data is safe in case your computer or phone is compromised.

## Remove RoboForm from your devices

After you've imported your data, you're ready to use Locker to manage your digital vault. Make sure to turn off or remove apps and extensions for any other password managers on your devices.
