# Verify domain names

> Learn how to verify your business domain in Locker to enable advanced management features.

Verifying a domain proves that you are the legitimate owner, allowing you to enable advanced management features such as automatic member approval.

## How to verify

  <Step title="Open domain management">
    In the **Enterprise Dashboard** → **Domains**, click on the domain you want to verify.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the verification method">
    Locker provides verification via a **DNS TXT record**. The system will display the record value you need to add.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the DNS record">
    Log in to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Google Domains, etc.) and add a TXT record with the value provided by Locker.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify">
    Return to Locker and click **Verify**. The system will check the DNS record.
  </Step>

<Note>
  DNS propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours depending on your provider. If verification fails, wait a while and try again.
</Note>

## After successful verification

* The domain status changes to **Verified**.
* You can enable **automatic approval** for members with emails belonging to this domain.
* A verified domain cannot be used by another workspace.
