# Set Up a Super Admin Account

> Learn how to create and configure a Super Admin account for the Locker Self-hosted system.

The **Super Admin** is the highest-level administrative account in the Locker Self-hosted system, with full authority to manage the infrastructure and subsidiary organizations.

## Create a Super Admin Account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access the admin page">
    Open your browser and navigate to the admin URL of your deployed Locker Self-hosted system.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Register a Super Admin account">
    On the login page, select **Create Super Admin Account**. Enter your email and Master Password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm your email">
    Check your email and click the confirmation link to activate your account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Log in">
    Log in with the email and Master Password you created.
  </Step>

## Super Admin Permissions

* Create and manage **subsidiary organizations**.
* Create and manage **user accounts** within the system.
* Configure **SMTP email** for sending notifications.
* Configure **SSO** for the entire system.
* Monitor activity across all users.

  Keep your Super Admin Master Password in a safe place. Losing your Master Password means losing access to the admin system.
