# Security policies in Locker for Business

> An overview of the security policies you can configure in Locker for Business.

Locker for Business allows Owners and Admins to configure security policies to ensure all employees comply with safety standards.

## Policy types

### Password policy

Define minimum requirements for employees when creating a Master Password:

* Minimum length
* Uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and special character requirements
* Prevent reuse of old passwords

### Login policy

Control how members log in to Locker:

* Require two-factor authentication (2FA)
* Limit the number of failed login attempts
* Set a lockout duration after too many failed login attempts

## Scope

* Policies apply to **all members** in the workspace.
* Members who do not comply will be prompted to update their settings upon their next login.
* Only **Owners** and **Admins** can configure and modify policies.
