2FA via Authenticator App

Enable 2FA with Authenticator App

  • To enable 2FA with an authenticator app for your Locker account, select the Authenticator App section.
  • Follow the instructions displayed in the section to enable 2FA.

  • After setting 2FA with your base device, the next time you log in to your Locker account on a new device or browser, you’ll be required to enter the OTP displayed on the Locker app on your base device.
  • To stop using 2FA, select Disable in the Authenticator App section, then enter the OTP displayed on the Locker app on your base device to confirm.

Note: You are recommended to write down the recovery key and keep it safe.

Use Recovery Key for 2FA via Authentication App

If you lose access to your authenticator app, you can use the Recovery Key given previously to set up another 2FA to log in to your Locker account.

  1. On Locker Authenticator (or any authenticator app), choose to create a new OTP.
  1. Enter a name for the new OTP, and the Recovery Key.

  1. Click Add. The authenticator app will generate a 6-digit TOTP code.
  1. You can use the TOTP as the second step to log in to your Locker account as an alternative to your lost 2FA.
