Receive and reply to an email sent to your alias
An email alias in Maily doesn’t have a real inbox, so all emails sent to that alias will be forwarded to your root email address. You can reply to those emails from your real email without revealing your true identity.
Below is an example of when an email is sent to your alias and forwarded to your real email address:
If you would like to reply to that email, click the Reply button. Then type the email content and click Send.
The recipient will receive the email sent from the @maily address, not from your true email address as below.
Note: You can only reply to each incoming email with a single email. If you attempt to reply one email more than once, the second or subsequent email will not be sent.
