The Data Breach Scanner is a feature that checks whether your email address has been exposed in any publicly reported data breaches.

How it works

  1. Enter the email address you want to check.
  2. Locker cross-references your email against a database of known breaches.
  3. If your email is found to be exposed, Locker displays the related breaches along with detailed information.

If your email is found in a breach

  • Change your password immediately for the affected accounts.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to strengthen your security.
  • Use strong, unique passwords for each account — use Locker’s password generator.
The Data Breach Scanner is available on both the Web Vault and mobile apps.
