Import data from Microsoft Edge to Locker
Follow the below steps to export passwords from Edge and import into Locker.
Export from Microsoft Edge
You can export your Edge data from Edge browser.
- Open the Edge browser.
- Select the Options menu (…) at the top right corner > choose Settings.
- Choose the Profiles tab at the left pane menu > Click on Passwords under the Your profile section.
- At the Saved passwords section, click on the button (…).
- Click on Export passwords and confirm.
Your data will be exported into a XML file and automatically downloaded. Wait for the download to complete and then import this file into Locker.
Import to Locker
Web Vault
To import data to the web vault:
- Open Locker on your browser.
- Select
Settings>Import/Export.
- Scroll down to the Import section.
- Select the format of the import file from the drop-down menu.
- Click
Choose Fileand upload the import file on your device, or paste the import file contents in the underneath blank section.
- Click
Import.
Your login credentials have been successfully imported from Edge to the Locker vault.
Mobile Devices
- Open Locker app.
- Tap
Menu>Settings>Import Data.
- Tap
Format
- Tap
Select Fileto upload the import file to the system.
- Tap
Import Data.
Note: After successful import, you should delete the data export file in your local storage to ensure your data is safe in case your computer or phone is compromised.
