A strong password is the first defense against cyberattacks. Generate the most secure passwords using Locker built-in password generator by following these steps:

On Web Vault and Desktop app

1. Click Security Tools on the sidebar.

2. Click Password Generator on the tool list.

3. Customize the generated password with the following options:

• Slide the marker to adjust password length (maximum 64 characters)

• Use uppercase letters (A-Z)

• Use lowercase letters (a-z)

• Use digits (0-9)

• Use symbols (@!$%*)

• Avoid ambiguous characters

1. Click Copy Password.

You can also use the Password Generator available in the Add Password or Edit Password form.

On Mobile device

Generate passwords in Vault

1. Open the Locker app on your iOS or Android device.

2. Tap Tools > Password Generator.

3. Customize the generated password.

1. Tap Use Password to copy to the clipboard or Regenerate to create another password.

Generate passwords and fill on an app or site

1. First, turn on the autofill service for the Locker mobile app.

2. On any app or site you are visiting, navigate to the registration or login screen.

3. Tap the password field, then tap the Locker option on the keyboard popping up.

4. Generate strong passwords:
• On iOS, you can tap the Password Generator icon on the top right corner (to generate a strong password) or tap the Plus icon (to add a new login) for that app/site.
• On Android, click the Plus icon on the top right corner to add a new login (email and password) for that app/site.

On Extension

1. Open the Locker extension.

2. Click the Generator tab.

3. Customize the generated password.

1. Click Copy Password or Save with Locker to add a new item with the generated password.

Generate passwords and fill on an app or web site

1. On any web site you are visiting, navigate to the registration or login screen.

2. Click the password field, then click the Locker favicon.

3. On the password generator popup that appears, customize password options and click Use this password > the generated password will be filled in the field.
