You can move from any authenticator app to Locker Authenticator.

Import OTP from Google Authenticator

If you are using Google Authenticator, it is possible to transfer all your accounts’ 2FA to Locker without getting locked out of all your accounts along the way.

See how to import data from Google Authenticator here:

From Google Authenticator mobile app

1. Open your Google Authenticator app.

2. Tap the three-dot menu icon > Transfer accounts > Export accounts. Verify yourself by your phone PIN or biometrics methods.

3. You will see the list of your 2FAs. You can choose which to export by ticking/unticking the 2FAs you want. Tap Next, you will see a QR code generated.

4. Open the Locker app on another device.

5. Tap the OTP tab, then select the Plus icon at the top right.

6. Tap Scan a QR code.

7. Point your device’s camera toward the QR code. Locker will automatically scan the QR code and import the 2FAs from Google Authenticator to your Vault.

From Google Authenticator extension

On the Google Authenticator extension, you can only import your 2FAs one by one.

1. Open Google Authenticator on the browser extension.

2. Hover over the OTP you want to import to Locker, and click the QR code icon next to the OTP. You will see a QR code appearing.

3. Open the Locker app on another device.

4. Tap the OTP tab, then select the Plus icon at the top right.

5. Tap Scan a QR code.

6. Point your device’s camera toward the QR code. Locker will automatically scan the QR code and import the OTP from Google Authenticator to your Vault. You can repeat the process to import all the OTP from the Google Authenticator extension.

Move to Locker from Authy

The Authy application does not allow importing or exporting 2FA codes. Users who want to move the 2FA codes from Authy to Locker can follow the below instructions:

1. Log in to the online accounts with your existing 2FA codes in Authy.

2. Disable 2FA on the app's site.

3. Re-enable 2FA again on the app's site.

4. Use the Locker mobile app to scan the QR code, or manually enter the provided setup key.

5. Enter the code generated in Locker to the app’s site.
