What is Locker Quick Share

The Quick Shares feature allows Locker users to share items in their Vault more quickly and conveniently with anyone, even those without a Locker account, while still ensuring security with data encryption.

The item shared with Quick Shares is a copy version of the original item in your Vault, so it is not updated when you edit the Vault item.

Locker Quick Share on Web Vault

Share an item

Access from the Inventory tab

1. At the Inventory tab, hover over the item you want to share > Click on Share button > Select Get shareable link

1. You can choose either to share with anyone by selecting Anyone with the link, or share with specific people by selecting Only invited people and typing their email address.

1. Customize your share with expiration date and times to access > Click on Get link to share

1. Copy the link and send it to whomever you want to share.

Access from the Shares tab

Or you can go to the Shares tab > My shared items > Quick shares. Click on New share> Quick Shares. Then browse to choose an item from the item list and customize your share.

View your shared item

Go to the Shares tab > My shared items > Quick shares. Then click on the item name you want to view.

Stop sharing

Go to the Shares tab > My shared items > Quick shares. Hover over the item you want to stop sharing > Click on the button … Then click on Stop sharing.

Share an item

Access from the Home tab

1. At the Home tab, select the item you want to share > select Share > Quick Shares

2. You can choose either to share with anyone by selecting Anyone with the link, or share with specific people by selecting Only invited people and typing their email address.

3. Customize your share with expiration date and times to access > Click on Get link to share

1. Copy the link and send it to whoever you want to share.

Access from the Browse tab

Go to the Browse tab > Shares > Quick shares. Click on button Plus

View your shared item

Go to the Browse tab > Shares > Quick shares > Select the item you want to view. Select View details.

Stop sharing

Go to the Browse tab > Shares > Quick shares > Select the item you want to stop sharing. Select Stop sharing.

View an item as the recipient

Recipient as anyone with the link

1. Click on the link to the item you received.

2. On the web view screen, click on the Eye icon to reveal the item details.

Recipient as only invited people

1. Click on the item you received.

2. On the web view screen, enter your email that the owner shared with. Then click on Send code

1. Enter the OTP sent to your email > Click on Verify to verify yourself

1. Click on the Eye icon to reveal the item details.
